This review is a long time coming!  I first contacted Tomas last year after seeing reviews on yelp.  After an initial Phone conversation about security/safety measures to protect my children while using the internet for school assignments, he advised  me of what tools I needed to purchase and made an appointment to come install everything within a few days. Tomas is reliable, patient and as nice as can be!

The Oaks Computers will always be my go to company for all electronic and computer needs. Tomas has also installed the Nest Air Conditioning system and Blink Security for our family. I ask a lot of questions and take a long time to understand these new systems, and Tomas always explains with similes answers and a smile 🙂

  i received 2 quotes from yelp providers.

one was for $180, one was for $90.

Thomas was fairly close and told me he would not give me a quote over the phone or internet. However, he would give me a free analysis. no charge up front to later be applied IF i had him do the service.

It turned out to be a different problem than i described to him.
bottom line was it cost me $39.

Love this guy. Super honest.

  So, where do I start. I met THOMAS after stopping in to Fry's electronics in Woodland Hills and had all kinds of technical questions. Fry's  was kind enough to introduce me to THOMAS. What can I say?  What a find! In today's ever-changing technical world, it's wonderful to find people who are as enthusiastic and as knowledgeable as THOMAS. He has helped me from everything from Lutron, to Amazon, to setting up my roller shades through MySomfy, to working on my computers in my office, he does it all!!

I cannot tell you how satisfied I am with THOMAS. He is a class guy,  has a great attitude and is a student of the ever changing technical world we all live in.  I am a techie. In my case, I have a very smart house. I have nest thermostats, nest cameras, Lutron, my roller shades are controlled by MySomfy.......... all of the technical work and devices that I have, have been set up and worked on and maintained by Thomas.

His company "The Oaks Computers" is a true find.

  We struggled with bad home WiFi until we called The Oaks Computers. Thomas got us scheduled quickly, was on time and got us dialed in right the first time. Strongly recommended.

  I work in a small office in Woodland Hills, just 3 of us.  When it comes to IT problems none of us are tech savvy.  A few months ago we had problems with my computer.  I didn't know who to call so I started reaching to many people asking for a referral.  My neighbor, who seems to know everyone, referred me to Thomas.  OMG, I am forever grateful for her referral.  He is so smart, honest, he really know his stuff, he's professional, I just can't say enough great stuff about him.  He helped us so much and in the biggest way possible.  I highly recommend him and am so thankful we found him.

  Thomas is great!  Seriously, he is thoughtful, knowledgable, fast, confidential and reasonable. I brought him two computers, he carefully did diagnostics on both, offered me several financial options for fixing them and proceeded to fix the one i was most concerned about. He suggested several ways for me to go with the other computer as well.

He responded to my initial query pretty immediately, I made an appointment and he was completely professional, getting back to me quickly and I came in just an hour or two later. I believe he generally takes bigger projects but he did not treat mine as small fry at all.
i was initially nervous to reach out and I was happily surprised by how easy it was to work with him and how reasonable his prices are.

One day later and my computer is working. The original quote was extremely reasonable. However, it ended up he would not take payment as he felt he did not actually fix the root problem - I now need to use an external keyboard after I damaged the laptop keyboard with liquid--but in my mind he did fix it ! I can access my files and use a keyboard. I thought I had lost everything. Very happy client. While I hope not to need his help again, I know if my family has concerns, we'll call him.

  Thomas, Thank you so much for fixing my MacBook Pro 2011. It's been sitting in my cabinet for almost four years. Apple Store told me it wasn't worth fixing, until I found you on Yelp. I am so extremely satisfied with your service. You are the best! You save me a lot of money. Not only my pc's been upgraded, I now have life time warranty on my RAM and new battery for reasonable price. Impeccable customer service you have. I'm very happy:-) Looking forward to doing business with you again.

  These guys are great! We use them exclusively for our company and personal computer needs. Thomas is very helpful & knowledgeable and always returns calls/texts promptly. I have been in a bind many times and I can always count on him to be there to answer any questions. Truly the best customer service and on top of that, they have very fair pricing.
